Summer is Over

I cannot believe how fast summer went, and how stressful it was. I did not spend ONE DAY that was totally to myself the whole summer long. This was the hardest summer since the one where Dad was on his last round of chemo before passing away. This summer is not leaving me with a rested, happy feeling; I can honestly say that for the first time in my teaching career, I am not close to being ready for school to begin.
